New Hampshire

I went up to NH recently to visit the fam and recharge a bit. The springtime colors had just exploded into greens, blues, pinks, purples--such a nice break from the gray of the city (which I love, but I'm a Hampsh girl and need good doses of color/life every now and again to get the brain churning. Plus, the dog loves to be all nature-y and scare frogs. Here's a pic from a woodsy afternoon walk... I love the moodiness of the fog and the richness of the varied greens.

Update blog.

This has been on my to-do list for weeks. Wait, no--MONTHS. Time has this terrible habit of slipping away and my priorities seem to get rejiggered every other day. I tend to blame it on settling into a new city, learning the ropes, navigating the daily challenges of life and work. But really? I just need to buckle down and get a routine established for myself.

1. Update once a week
2. Create blog postings, not only work posts
3. Incite discussion

Roadtrip

The week before Christmas I made the leap I had planned for a few months: My move from Southern California back east, settling in Brooklyn, NY. I took my trusty iPhone, packed the car with almost everything I own, and headed off. These pics are a few of my Instagram-documented journey (and my, what a journey it was).
